NCB raids Mumbai cruise: NCB arrests Shah Rukh’s son Aryan Khan and others in drugs case

The raids were conducted at a party organized by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on Saturday night. Eight people were taken into custody on Sunday. The operation followed a tip-off on a proposed rave party planned to board a cruise ship on a Mumbai-Goa voyage, which departed from the International Cruise Terminal, Mumbai.

After a medical checkup at Mumbai’s JJ Hospital, Shah Rukh’s son Aryan Khan was arrested along with Arbaaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha was arrested by the NCB in a drug raid case.

“Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, who were detained in connection with the raid at a party on a cruise off the Mumbai coast, were taken out of the NCB office for medical examination”, reported ANI.

According to NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede, eight persons were taken into custody on Sunday for questioning by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with the alleged seizure of drugs on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on Saturday night.

In a first-of-its-kind operation on a cruise ship, the NCB swooped down on a raiding party taking place on the cruise ship off Mumbai coast and detained around eight people, including Aryan Khan. “Eight persons – Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohk Jaswal, Vikrant Chhokar, Gomit Chopra are being questioned in connection with the raid at an alleged rave party on a cruise off the Mumbai coast,” Sameer Wankhede told ANI.
