NCB: Mumbai: 2 arrested for extorting extortion from people posing as NCB officers. Mumbai News – Times of India

Mumbai: Two people arrested for presenting themselves in Mumbai Narcotics Control Bureau ,NCBPolice said on Sunday that officials including a Bhojpuri actor are extorting extortion from other people.
During investigation, Mumbai’s Amboli police found that the 28-year-old Bhojpuri actor had committed suicide in Jogeshwari area when two accused tried to extort Rs 20 lakh from him.
Later, the police registered a case under ADR and sections 306, 170, 420, 384, 388, 389, 506, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Both the accused have been identified as Suran and Pravesh, both residents of Mumbai.
“The actor was present at the rave party when these two fake NCB officials demanded Rs 40 lakh from him and his friends. Later, they realized Rs 20 lakh from him. It was also revealed that arif gaziThe one who had attended the party with the actor was behind it,” the police said.
“After the incident, the Bhojpuri actor got scared and committed suicide by hanging himself on Thursday,” police said.
Further investigation is being done.
