Hours after meeting Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan at Arthur Road Jail, NCB officials reached the superstar’s bungalow Mannat to collect some documents belonging to the actor’s son. It was earlier reported that the anti-drug agency had reached Shahrukh’s bungalow to conduct raids, however, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede confirmed that the team had gone to Shah Rukh Khan’s residence to collect some documents related to Aryan Khan and ‘ No raids were conducted in Mannat. .
Meanwhile, another team of Narcotics Control Bureau also reached the house of actress Ananya Pandey.
Earlier, the Bombay High Court on Thursday morning said that it will hear the bail plea of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, his lawyers were quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Aryan, in his petition, has challenged the order of the Sessions Court denying bail in the case. Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde requested that the matter be taken up tomorrow or on Monday next week but the court said it would hear the matter on Tuesday next week.
On Thursday morning, Shah Rukh Khan arrived at Arthur Road Jail today to meet his son Aryan after the jail authorities allowed an in-person meeting which was earlier banned due to the Covid protocol. This was Shah Rukh’s first meeting with his son Aryan Khan, who has been in jail since October 8 in the drugs-on-cruise case. According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan spent around 20 minutes in jail.
Meanwhile, in a major setback to Aryan Khan, a special NDPS court in Mumbai on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son. 2. Special NDPS judge VV Patil also rejected the bail pleas of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, two other accused in the drug case registered by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
Aryan Khan, Merchant, and Dhamecha, along with five others were detained on 2 October and arrested on 3 October after the NCB raided the luxury ship that was preparing to embark on a Mumbai-Goa cruise.
