As per the latest reports, South star Nayantara will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Atlee’s next film opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
One of the best South Indian actresses, Nayanthara will soon be making her debut in the Hindi film industry. His rumors for the past few weeks Bollywood debut together Shah Rukh Khan are circling. Atlee will direct the upcoming yet untitled film in his first Bollywood project. While it was initially reported that the makers of the film have approached Nayanthara, there seems to be a development in the news.
According to the latest Pinkvilla report, Nayanthara has been locked as the female lead opposite Shah Rukh. Nayanthara has previously worked in two films – Raja Rani (2013) and Bigil (2019) directed by Atlee. As per a source quoted in the report, “The actress has joined the action thriller and the paperwork has been done.” Atlee wants to make a proper multilingual film and hence is bringing eminent faces from industries across the country on board. The pre-production work is in full swing and location scout, look test etc. have started. The report states that the upcoming film is next in line for Shah Rukh after his current work, Pathan.
Shah Rukh will play a double role in the Atlee directorial, but the details of Nayanthara’s character are kept a secret for now. The actor is presently flaunting a heavy body with six pack abs and wants to take the same avatar in Atlee’s film. However, he will sport a look that is different from Pathan’s. The team of the film is trying to develop a special outfit for the actor based on his character traits.
Nayanthara has some interesting projects. He has Annaatthe written and directed by Shiva. Rajinikanth, Meena, Khushboo, Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj are also part of the project. She will also be seen in Kathu Vakula Rendu Kaadhal directed by Vignesh Shivan. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Akkineni in lead roles.
