Nayanthara has been featured on Business Today’s cover page for the December issue along with filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, Apollo Hospitals Joint MD Sangita Reddy and SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch.

Nayanthara is not only one of the most sought-after actresses in India but also one of the most respected. She has majorly worked in Tamil and Telugu cinema and over the years, she has solidified her position as a lead actress in South films. The actress entered the Hindi cinema with Atlee’s directorial Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan.

Nayanthara even ventured into production with her husband Vignesh Shivan in 2021 with Rowdy Pictures and this year, she launched her skincare brand 9Skin, sanitary napkin brand Femi9 and invested in superfoods brand The Divine Food.

Nayanthara has been featured on Business Today’s cover page for the December issue. She shared the cover with the film director and co-founder of Tiger Baby, Zoya Akhtar, Apollo Hospitals Joint MD Sangita Reddy and SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch. As she shared the cover on Instagram, Nayanthara credited her success to her husband for encouraging her dream big.

“Grateful Thank you my dear husband Vignesh Shivan for teaching me to Dream bigger, Thank you Business Today For this honour! (sic),” Nayanthara wrote in the caption of the post.

Speaking to Business Today recently, Nayanthara shared that they do make money off the businesses but it has to make a positive difference to the people. While Shivan analyses the business opportunities, Nayanthara chips in to build the brand and contribute towards the look and feel of the products. “Vignesh and I are quite hands-on. Unless we approve something, it doesn’t go out,” she added.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara’s 75th film Annapoorani recently debuted on the big screen and it has been receiving mixed reviews from critics and viewers alike. The film is about her character Annapoorani’s passion for cooking, but eating or touching meat is frowned upon in her traditional Brahmin household. Annapoorani enrols herself into a hotel management school covertly and tells her family that she is pursuing an MBA while doing so. But it all changes after an accident happens inside the kitchen.
