After a romantic honeymoon in Thailand with her husband Vignesh Shivan, female superstar Nayanthara is all set to fulfill her work commitments. As per a report in Pinkvilla, the Kathavakalu Rendu Kadhal actress arrived in Mumbai straight after her honeymoon in Thailand.
The entertainment portal further added that Nayan directly reached Mumbai today and is ready to join Shahrukh Khan In the ongoing schedule of Atlee’s Jawan.
“Nayanthara is starting the new schedule from today as she joins Shah Rukh in the ongoing schedule of Jawaan. It is going to be a long event till mid-July. She took a short break after her marriage and as we all know, she will do everything in her ability to do things according to the given schedule. She is here and fulfilling her work commitments,” revealed the source.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan has officially confirmed that Nayanthara is a part of Jawan. During an Instagram Live on Sunday on completing 30 years in the industry, the superstar refrained from sharing any details about the jawan, but mentioned, “It has Nayantara ji in it.”
Talking about the film, Shah Rukh said, “It is too early to say. There is still a long way to go. I can’t tell you much about Jawan except that I am having a great time as an actor. And director Atlee, it’s a different kind of film. Everyone has seen his work. He makes excellent people-oriented films, again a genre I have never tried. So, I wanted to try my hand at it. And I think there is good chemistry between me and Atlee. I bring something (in the film), and he brings something. Whatever we have done for the jawan is thrilling and exciting.”
The jawan was formally announced earlier this summer. He released a poster and a teaser in which his face is covered under bandages. The teaser has got the fans excited about the film. Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and directed by Atlee. It will hit the theaters on June 2, 2023 in five Indian languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara will be starring in the upcoming film O2. The film will release on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.
