Nawazuddin Siddiqui has issued a statement reacting to his estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui’s claims that she and the couple’s children are stranded.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui issued a statement reacting to his wife Aaliya’s latest claims. For a few weeks now, Nawazuddin and Aaliya have been involved in a public spat. While Alia has claimed that Nawazuddin and his family abused her and the children, Nawazuddin applied for custody of his children. Meanwhile, Aaliya shared a new video claiming that she and her kids are stranded on the road as Nawazuddin is not allowing them to come to his bungalow.

Lashing out at the claims, Nawazuddin said in a statement that the house she was addressing did not belong to him but to his mother Mehrunnisa Siddiqui. He said that he had bought Aaliya a luxurious house in Mumbai in 2016. He claims that he has given the place on rent of his own free will. He assured that no one removed him or the children from the property.

“Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui has said that she was not allowed to enter the house but the truth is that Nawazuddin has already named the property on his Ammi, Mehrunisa Siddiqui, so Nawaz is not allowed to enter anyone’s house. The estates are devoid of any decision-making power. Mehrunnisa Siddiqui’s caretaker says only her grandchildren are allowed in the property and no one else as the property now belongs to her.

“Also, a recent viral video in which Alia was seen claiming that she has no other place to live or go is technically incorrect. To clarify this fact, Nawaz has bought a lavish flat for Aaliya in Mumbai in 2016, which she has rented out of her own free will. Moreover, as we can clearly see in this video that no one has been removed from the property as claimed by Alia and it is also clear that the children were never stopped to enter the property,” The statement read, as told by The. Indian Express.

Meanwhile, a video surfaced on Friday which showed Nawazuddin not being allowed into his own house to meet his mother. News18.com got access to a video taken outside Nawazuddin’s house late at night, in which Nawaz was seen trying to enter his house but was stopped by his brother Faizuddin. We learned that Nawazuddin tried to meet his ailing mother on Thursday night but was not allowed to enter the premises.
