Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently making headlines for his much publicized legal rift with his ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui. Trouble in paradise started when Aaliya accused Nawazuddin of misbehavior and rape, even targeting him for abusing his power. Recently, it was reported that their children have been asked by the court to return to Dubai and continue their studies. Now in a new interview, Alia has opened up on her current situation and revealed that she is also in Dubai with her kids.
“The court ordered Nawaz to clarify all our issues. This put a condition for her that she has to take care of everything in Dubai and the children should not face any trouble. She acted on those court orders and that’s why I have come to Dubai with the kids,” she told E-Times.
Alia further said that living in Dubai is not easy as one has to deal with many financial issues. “Living in Dubai is not easy as there are many financial issues among other things. But the court gave a very good ruling that Nawaz has to fulfill all his duties and ensure that we live in good condition. All issues have been resolved.”
“The court has also left the decision to the children – they can live in Dubai or anywhere in India. But first, they must complete their studies in Dubai.
When asked about the current status of her relationship with Nawaz, Aaliya shared, “I have applied for divorce but before that, it is important to sit down and discuss where we stand as this is what the court told us Is. They have asked us to settle the matter out of court. But Nawaz is traveling at the moment, once he comes back then only we will sit and sort out our issues and part ways amicably because that is what the court has told us.”
