Nawazuddin Siddiqui shares his side of the story amid his tussle with ex-wife Aaliya
Nawazuddin Siddiqui wrote a long note on his Instagram handle and said that because of his silence, he is called a bad man everywhere.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the first time spoke about the allegations leveled against him by his ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui. The actor wrote a long note on his official Instagram handle and said that because of his silence, he is called a bad man everywhere. He claimed that the social media and the press were enjoying character assassination of him on the basis of one-sided and manipulated videos. He then explained his ordeal in detail and put forward his side of the story.
His note read, “Due to my silence I am called a bad guy everywhere, so I kept quiet because somewhere my little kids will read this whole farce. Social media platforms, press and a bunch of people are really one sided.” and enjoying my character assassination on the basis of manipulated videos. There are some points, I would like to express – (sic)”
He continued, “1. First of all me and Alia are not living together since many years, we are already divorced but we had understanding only for our kids. 2. Does anyone know, why my kids are in India and not going to school for 45 days in which school is sending me letter everyday that it is too long absence.
My children have been held hostage for the past 45 days and are missing their schooling in Dubai. 3. She had left the children in Dubai for the last 4 months before calling them here on the pretext of demanding money. They have been paid on an average around 10 lacs per month for the past 2 years and 5-7 lacs per month before moving to Dubai with my kids, excluding school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities. I have also financed 3 of her films which have cost me crores of rupees, just to help her establish her source of income as she is the mother of my children. He was given luxurious cars for my kids, but he sold them and spent the money on himself. I have also bought a lavish sea front apartment in Versova, Mumbai for my kids. Aaliya was made co-owner of the said apartment as my children are minors. I have given my children a rented apartment in Dubai, where she too was living comfortably.
She only wants more money and that’s why she has filed many cases on me and my mother and this is her routine, she has done the same in the past and withdraws the case when she is paid as per her demand.”
The note further read, “4. Whenever my children used to come to India for holidays, they used to stay with their grandmother. How can one get them out of the house. I myself was not at home at that time. Why doesn’t she make a video of being thrown when she makes a video of every random thing. 5. She has dragged children into this drama and she is doing this only with the intention of blackmailing me, maligning my reputation, spoiling my career and fulfilling her illegitimate demands. Last but not the least – No parent on this planet would ever want their children to be deprived of their studies or hinder their future, they would always try to give their best. Whatever I am earning today is for my two children and nothing can change that. I love Shora and Yani and would go to any extent to secure their well-being and their future. I have won all the cases so far and will continue to put my faith in the judiciary. Love is not to hold someone back, but to let him fly in the right direction, thank you (sic)”
