Navjot Sidhu was brought to PGI from Patiala Jail yesterday under tight security after falling ill.

Punjab Congress leader and former cricketer Navjot Sidhu has been admitted to PGI Chandigarh. Sidhu has been admitted to the heptology ward after a liver infection. Sidhu is currently serving a one-year jail term in the Patiala Central Jail. Sidhu was sentenced to one year by the Supreme Court in the 34-year-old road rage case. He was brought to PGI from Patiala Jail yesterday under tight security. The team of doctors is constantly looking after him.

Sidhu had asked for a special diet to tell the disease
Sidhu has told himself that he has liver problem in jail. Also told the problem of blood clotting (blood clotting), that is, thick blood. Sidhu said that he is also allergic to wheat, so he did not eat the lentils and roti of the jail. Instead he was eating only fruits and salads. For this, Sidhu had filed a petition in the court. After this, the board of doctors of Rajindra Hospital prepared Sidhu’s diet plan.

Sidhu became a clerk in jail
Navjot Sidhu has been sentenced to rigorous imprisonment by the Supreme Court. In view of the security, they are not being employed in the jail factory or bakery. Sidhu has been assigned the task of jail office. He will see the files while staying in the barracks. Sidhu will not get any salary for the work as of now. Right now he is an unskilled worker. After 3 months, they will be given 30 rupees per day if they become semi skilled and then 90 rupees per day if they become skilled.
