National Award winning actress Archana talks about her comeback film Chor Bazaar

Jeevan Reddy’s Chor Bazaar starring Akash Puri and Gehana Sippy will release on June 24. The film will also star veteran actress Archana, who is making a comeback in films. He was last seen in a Telugu film 25 years ago.

In a recent interview, Archana spoke about her comeback, her unconventional character and more. Talking about her character in Chor Bazaar, Archana said, “Even if my role is limited to just one or two scenes in a film, it should be impressive. There is an element of suspense surrounding my character in ‘Chor Bazaar’. I will be seen as a complete youth for a few minutes in the film! I was reluctant to do this role but I did it for the director’s sake. ,

Archana also talked about Marathi cinema and said that actresses of her age are doing love stories. Archana said, “Despite being above the age of 40 or 50, he is also doing bold scenes in Marathi films.”

Archana, who is making a comeback, talked about the times when she was not doing films. She revealed that she was in Chennai after she stopped doing films. Archana said that she is a contented person who is always positive and content.

“I don’t even remember some of the films that I did at some stage. My directors and mentors took me to new heights. I was part of the parallel cinema movement, not just commercial cinema. Indian cinema has embraced me throughout my career. I didn’t want to spoil my filmographic track record by doing any role. So, I took a break. Nevertheless, I continued to do art films occasionally in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. I was completely away from Telugu,” she said.
