Nagpur: School Headmasters Charitable Association (SHCA) celebrated the International earlier this week yoga offline and . day through a unique blend of online program.
MLC Nago Ganar presided over the offline function Abhijit Vanjarik and held at Smt Kaushalya Devi Maheshwari Mahila Mahavidyalaya.
SHCA organized the event in association with the multi-branch school Adarsh ​​Vidya Mandir and Sukh Shanti Samadhan Sanstha, which is conducting online yoga camps for principals.
Wanjari talked about the importance of yoga for boosting immunity, while Ganar highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role in bringing yoga on the global map. Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, who joined online, talked about the importance of yoga in strengthening our body and how to make it mandatory in schools.
SHCA President Khan, taking a pledge to provide yoga training to more than one lakh principals, teachers, students and parents, explained the broad objectives of the association.
Also present during the event was Govind Lalji Sarda, ex-president of Adarsh ​​Vidya Mandir (AVM), yoga guru Sachin Mathurkar, Ratan Sarda, president AVM, Ashok Kothari, secretary AVM, Dilip Bose, secretary of SHCA, and Sheela Kelapure, secretary of Sukh Shanti Samadhan Sanstha.
The people of SHCA who played a role in organizing the program included Vice President Sandeep Gaikwad, Treasurer Satish Gajbhiye, Joint Secretary Madhu Joseph, Sri Krishna Ramteke, Ashnarayan Tiwari, Tejinder Venugopal, Mala Godghat and Anita Bhute.
