Gudumba Shankar, directed by Veera Shankar and produced by Naga Babu’s Anjana Productions, originally premiered in 2004.

Naga Babu has donated Rs 35 lakh from the re-release collections of the movie Gudumba Shankar to Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party. The film was produced by Naga Babu under the Anjana Productions banner. Fans of Pawan Kalyan were delighted as Naga Babu contributed the re-release earnings of Gudumba Shankar to Janasena.

Naga Babu offered a cheque of Rs 35 lakh to Nadendla Manohar, highlighting their previous contributions of newly released collections from Orange (Rs 1 crore five lakh) and Jalsa (Rs 1 crore) to the Jana Sena party fund.

The producer has affirmed his steadfast dedication to the Jana Sena Party, vowing that all future proceeds from the re-released editions of his earlier films will be allocated to the party’s welfare initiatives.

In response to criticism labelling him a part-time politician, he clarified that his party relies on funds, setting it from others who receive overseas donations. His dual roles as an actor and politician align with a vision of contributing to meaningful change.

In a recent statement, Nagababu expressed gratitude for contributing a portion of the earnings from films re-released under the Anjana Production banner, named after his mother Anjana Devi, to support the Janasena Party.

Gudumba Shankar, directed by Veera Shankar and produced by Naga Babu’s Anjana Productions, originally premiered in 2004. Besides acting, Pawan Kalyan penned the screenplay and choreographed action sequences. Key roles were portrayed by Meera Jasmine and Ashish Vidyarthi, with Mani Sharma handling the music.

Pawan Kalyan is best known for films including Gabbar Singh, Jalsa, Attarintiki Daredi, and Agnathavasi- Prince in Exile. Soon, the actor is going to star in films including OG, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Ustaad Bhagat Singh will be directed by Harish Shankar. The film stars Sreeleela, Pankaj Tripathi, and Koushik Mahata in the leading roles. With music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, the cinematography of the film is handled by Ayananka Bose.
