Nag Panchami 2021: This puja will help you overcome your fear of snakes

Nag Panchami 2021: Many children and adults see snakes in their nightmares. Some of them also have nightmares where they are bitten by snakes. There are many reasons for having such dreams, which are a reflection of what we see. Most dreams are related to routine things, that is, what we have seen, heard, understood, wanted and experienced.

Such dreams do not have any special meaning, but the reason behind these dreams needs to be understood. According to astrologers, seeing a snake in a dream has both auspicious and inauspicious results.

How to overcome phobia of snakes?

You need to take two snake sculptures and a ‘swastika’ locket made of silver. You have to place snake idols in one plate and ‘swastika’ in the other plate. Then you have to pour milk on snakes and Belpatra on Swastika. Keep both the plates in front of you and chant ‘O Nagendraharai Namah’. After doing this, place the snake idols on the Shivling and wear a swastika locket around the neck. This will end your phobia of snakes.

Seven things to remember for Nag Puja:

1. To avoid these scary nightmares of snakes, you can do ‘Nag Puja’ on any ‘Panchami’. Of all the Panchami Tithis, Mauna and Nag Panchami are very special and worship on these days is very auspicious.
2. According to astrologers, ‘Nag Devta’ is worshiped on Panchami. Their worship is considered auspicious.
3. Like Chaturthi, you have to fast on Nag Panchami and have one meal in the evening.
4. While worshiping on the day of Nag Panchami, the picture or idol of snake should be duly installed on a wooden board and worshipped.
5. Offer turmeric, kanku, roli, rice and flowers to the idol. Mix raw milk, ghee, sugar and offer it to the snake idol.
6. After worship worship ‘Nag Devta’ and finally listen to the story of Nag Panchami.
7. Auspicious time for worship of Nag Devta: 05:48:49 pm to 08:27:36 i.e. 2 hours 38 minutes.
