Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has now broken his silence on the Supreme Court’s audit report on the capital’s oxygen crisis.
Kejriwal said, “My only crime is that I killed 2 crore people. When you were there” [Prime Minister Narendra Modi] Busy with election campaigning, I was burning oil at midnight to arrange oxygen. People have lost their loved ones due to lack of oxygen. Please don’t lie, they feel bad.”
A sub-group set up by the Supreme Court to audit oxygen consumption in hospitals in the national capital has said the Delhi government has “exaggerated” the consumption of the life-saving gas.
