Television anchor-actress Aishwarya Prabhakar has shared a video in which she is seen dancing to the tunes of American rapper and lyricist Cardi B’s Up. In the video shared on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the would-be mother can be seen grooving to the song.
Along with the video, Aishwarya has also penned a long note busting all pregnancy myths.
Beginning with a piece of advice, Aishwarya wrote, “Please read before commenting. I can totally understand the shock/surprise reaction you are getting while watching this video… because we all have our own thoughts about pregnancy, do’s and don’ts, fears, assumptions And ultimately creates a lot of confusion.”
“I was no different… I had all these mixed feelings too… But when I actually got pregnant I could see how confused I was. First of all, thanks to my doctor who explained it clearly to me And encouraged me to continue with my lifestyle.”
“I have been a dancer all my life, leading a very active lifestyle while I was pregnant…… so there is no point in suddenly turning into a couch potato. So, taking the advice of my doctor, I started dancing, Continued working out, doing all the housework… To my surprise, I felt more energetic every time I did any of the above. Research also shows that *an active mom Children with better immunity and IQ.”
Sharing her journey, Aishwarya said, “This is my first child so I am no expert in giving tips… baby.”
She ended the note by writing, “Happy Women’s Day to all the lovely little girls, beautiful women, powerful moms, strong wives, mischievous sisters and wise grandmothers. No more fighting for women’s equality. We certainly have much more.” are my inspiration in my journey.”
