The ‘view count’ feature is similar to the view count feature on platforms such as YouTube, allowing users to see how many times their tweets have been viewed.

Twitter users will now be able to track the performance of their tweets, thanks to a new ‘view count’ feature introduced by billionaire Elon Musk. The feature is similar to the view count feature on platforms such as YouTube, allowing users to see how many times their tweets have been viewed.

“Twitter is rolling out view count, so you can see how many times a tweet has been viewed! This is normal for videos,” Musk said at the launch of the new feature.

“Shows that Twitter is more alive than it seems, as over 90% of Twitter users read, but do not tweet, reply or like, as these are public actions,” he added.

Although some Twitter users have reported receiving the feature, it doesn’t seem to be available to everyone yet; Ergo, Twitter may roll it out in phases.

Meanwhile, Twitter has rolled out a new feature that allows users to search for publicly listed company stock and cryptocurrency prices.

TechCrunch reports that to track stock prices on Twitter, users can simply type in the dollar symbol followed by the relevant company’s ticker symbol in the search bar. For example, to track the stock price of Google, users would type “$GOOG” into the search bar, and to track the stock price of Ethereum, users would type “$ETH”. No quotes are necessary when entering a ticker symbol.
