Musewala used to live under security tension: Was told to the former Home Minister – If you become an MLA, your life will be saved; will get security

Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was aware of the danger to his life. Because of this, he used to live under the tension of security all the time. He had told this to the Home Minister of the previous Congress government, Sukhjinder Randhawa. Musewala had said that if I become an MLA then my life will be saved. I will get security. Musewala was shot dead on May 29 at 5.30 pm in Jawaharke village of Mansa. A day before that, his security was reduced by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab.

Former Home Minister said – Raja Vading had stopped him from contesting the election
Former Home Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa said that since 2020 Sidhu Musewala has been coming to my house. When Musewala expressed his desire to contest the elections, he was stopped by the then Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja Vading. Raja Vading told Musewala not to contest the election. You have a big name, don’t get into politics.

Musewala said – you have to join hands everyday
Former Home Minister Randhawa said that on the refusal of Vading, Musewala said that brother, if I become an MLA, then my life will be saved. I will get security. Every day I keep joining hands in front of someone to give me security. Randhawa said that this was the real reason because of which Moosewala was contesting the election. Musewala could not become an MLA and he was also murdered.

Moosewala had joined the Congress shortly before the elections. After this he contested from Mansa but lost.

Now there were only 2 gunmen, they were also not with them at the time of murder.
According to sources, Moosewala’s security was reduced after the election. They were left with 4 gunmen. In view of the anniversary of Operation Blue Star, the government temporarily withdrew 2 more commands. Only 2 gunmen were left with Musewala. However, these two gunmen were also not with them on the day of the murder.

Musewala was shot dead in the village of Jawaharke in Mansa. In the post-mortem, 19 bullet marks were found in his body. Of these, 7 bullets hit his body directly. Musewala was killed about 15 minutes later.
