Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was aware of the danger to his life. Because of this, he used to live under the tension of security all the time. He had told this to the Home Minister of the previous Congress government, Sukhjinder Randhawa. Musewala had said that if I become an MLA then my life will be saved. I will get security. Musewala was shot dead on May 29 at 5.30 pm in Jawaharke village of Mansa. A day before that, his security was reduced by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab.

Former Home Minister said – Raja Vading had stopped him from contesting the election

Musewala could not become an MLA and he was also murdered.

According to sources, Moosewala’s security was reduced after the election. They were left with 4 gunmen. In view of the anniversary of Operation Blue Star, the government temporarily withdrew 2 more commands. Only 2 gunmen were left with Musewala. However, these two gunmen were also not with them on the day of the murder.

Musewala was shot dead in the village of Jawaharke in Mansa.  In the post-mortem, 19 bullet marks were found in his body.  Of these, 7 bullets hit his body directly.  Musewala was killed about 15 minutes later.
