It was a dream to become a doctor, the brothers made it by giving full support
UP Police Inspector Rajkumar Yadav lived in Ashoknagar Colony of Gorakhpur. He was accompanied by his younger brother Om Prakash Yadav and mother Bageshwari Devi. When Om Prakash was young, his father died. In such a situation, Om Prakash’s studies should not be affected, so both his elder brothers helped and taught him. With the full support of the family, Om Prakash studied hard and became a good eye doctor.

The family got married to a girl living in Singapore, but got divorced within 6 months.
It’s 2007-08. Om Prakash started treating the eye. The family decided to get married now. When the talk started, there was a relationship with a family from Singapore. This family first lived in Gorakhpur and later settled in Singapore. Both got married. The girl who grew up in Singapore found everything strange here. He started feeling suffocated. It was only after 6 months that she returned to Singapore. Again started working in the bank as before.

From here the entry in the story takes place, the second marriage of Archana Yadav to the daughter of a security guard engaged in the security of CM.
After getting divorced after six months of the first marriage, the family started looking for another relationship for Om Prakash. Now since Om Prakash was a doctor, there was no such divorce for him, but relations of new girls were coming for him. During this, the relationship of Deepchand Yadav’s daughter Archana Yadav also came. Deepchand belonged to Ghazipur, but after being in PAC, he settled in Lucknow with the whole family. After the formation of the SP government in 2012, he was posted under the security of Akhilesh Yadav.

Om Prakash and Archana got married in 2009. After two years, Archana decided to live separately from the rest of the family.

Archana got the house divided into two pieces
Archana and Om Prakash got married in 2009. Everything was fine in the initial days, but after a few days Archana started having problems in doing family chores. She told Om Prakash, “I don’t have to live with the family, we have to live separately now.” Om Prakash did not like this thing, he said, “Those who educated me and made me a doctor, should I leave them now?” When the family members were talked about, it was decided that they would stay in the same house, but would prepare food separately.

Created Facebook ID and fell in love with private teacher
Archana-Om Prakash had a son named Nitin in 2012. After separating from the family, Archana did not have much work. He created an ID on Facebook to pass the time. Meanwhile, a friend request of Ajay Yadav of Swaminagar in Firozabad district came on Facebook and Archana accepted it. Things started happening between the two.

Ajay Yadav was a teacher in a private school, but showed himself as a big leader of the Samajwadi Party. He impressed Archana with his words.

Archana came to Lucknow from her in-laws’ house to meet her lover
The closeness between Ajay and Archana was increasing continuously. Ajay made a plan to meet and kept the place in Lucknow. Archana had a maternal uncle in Lucknow, so she came after asking her husband to go to her maternal home. Here the two met and physical relations were established between the two here. After this, sometimes Archana would come to Lucknow to meet and sometimes Ajay would come to Gorakhpur. Archana called him 4 times at home, calling him a distant relative. He remained at home all four times.

Invited the lover to his house to get the husband killed
Archana was now talking on the phone the whole day. Om Prakash interrupted many times but it did not have any effect on Archana. In December 2015, the controversy escalated to such a degree that Archana said that now I will not sleep in the same room with you and Archana now sleeps in a different room and Om Prakash in a different room. Between the dispute with Om Prakash and love for Ajay, Archana decided that now Om Prakash would have to be removed from the way and for this she called Ajay by train to Gorakhpur.

On 20 January 2016, there was a marriage anniversary program in Ashoknagar Colony. Om Prakash’s entire family was called, but Archana did not go. Om Prakash went to the program with his 4-year-old son Nitin. Here Archana called Ajay Yadav in the house and hid it in his room. Om Prakash returned at 10 pm and started sleeping with his son in another room. At 12 o’clock in the night, Archana and Ajay came into the room and while lying on his stomach, Ajay hit the lower part of the head with a hammer with full force. Immediately the second and third strikes were also done. Om Prakash died on the spot.

After killing her husband, Archana told Ajay, kill the son too. When Ajay refused, Archana strangled him.

When the murderer refused to kill the child, Archana strangled her son.
The son Nitin, lying on the bed, got up due to the hammer. When I saw blood, I started crying. Archana picked it up and applied it to her chest and said to Ajay, “He has seen everything, he will tell everyone, so kill him too.” Ajay refused to kill the child. Said, what is the fault of the child, I cannot kill it. Archana said, “If you can’t kill me, I kill you.” After saying this, he held his own son’s throat so hard till the son died.

The matter was so high profile that the SSP got a call from the CM residence.
After the murder, Ajay and Archana made a robbery scene in the house. Scattered all the things. Took out the money kept in the cupboard. The room latch broke. After this, Ajay ran away after sending Archana to another room. On the morning of January 21, when the workers going to work on the third floor of the house went to Om Prakash’s room on the second floor, there was an uproar. The laborers ran downstairs and told mother Bageshwari and the neighbors. From the other room, Archana was constantly shouting what happened, open the door.

As soon as the information about the double murder case was received, there was a stir from Gorakhpur to Lucknow. Got a call from CM residence.

There was a crowd of people. Shahpur police station in-charge Anand Prakash Shukla reached the spot along with the police force. On hearing the news of his brother’s murder, Ramkumar Yadav, posted at Utraula police station in Balrampur district, ran away and reached home. On the other hand, Archana’s father Deepchand Yadav also reached Gorakhpur. The call came from the CM residence to nab the killers. The pressure of solving the case increased on the then DIG RK Chaturvedi and SSP Luv Kumar. When the police started investigation from the angle of robbery, it was found that the latch of the door had been broken from inside instead of outside.

Knowing the murderer, the police was unable to show the courage to interrogate him.
Om Prakash’s mother Bageshwari Devi told the police that there was always a fight between Archana and Om Prakash. Since December 2015, both of them started sleeping in different rooms. Now the suspicion of the police increased on Archana, but the police could not muster the courage to interrogate her. He was afraid that if Archana turns out to be innocent, the police department will be tarnished. The police had earlier retrieved Archana’s call details and Facebook messages.

Both had physical relations before the murder and after the murder
The police got a clue of Ajay. He was arrested from Firozabad. When the police questioned him, he spewed everything. The police immediately arrested Archana. SSP Luv Kumar opened the entire case on 22 January. He held a press conference with DIG RK Chaturvedi. Told that Ajay Yadav came home on the night of 20 January and had a physical relationship with Archana. After killing him at 12 o’clock in the night, he again had physical relations and after that left the house.

Both were arrested and sent to jail. When inmates in Gorakhpur jail asked Archana a question on her son’s murder, she said, ‘I had produced him and I killed him. What’s in it for you?’ After hearing this, the prisoners beat him up. The people of the jail administration ran away and saved Archana from the rest of the prisoners.

both sentenced to life imprisonment
On 17 October 2020, the Additional Sessions Court of Gorakhpur convicted Archana Yadav and Ajay Yadav and sentenced them to life imprisonment. Judge Gyan Prakash Shukla, while pronouncing the sentence, imposed a fine of Rs 65 thousand on both of them. Said, if 65 thousand rupees are not deposited then Archana and Ajay will have to stay in jail for three and a half years.
