Murder incident in Punjab’s Gurharsahai: Dispute over food during kitty party, hotel owner fired at guests; jeweler’s death

A bullion trader was murdered late on Wednesday night in Punjab’s Ferozepur district. The allegation is on the owner of the hotel. It is being told that during the kitty party there was a dispute over food and during that time the owner of the hotel opened fire on the guests who came here. The bullion trader was killed in the firing, while a woman was injured. After the information, the police is engaged in the investigation of the matter. The incident was also captured in the hotel’s CCTV camera.

The incident took place in the town of Guruharsahai at around 11 pm on Wednesday. A kitty party was going on at Badshah Vegetarian Hotel located here on Wednesday night. While eating after the party, Guruharsahai’s jewelery businessman Tinka got into an argument with hotel owner Rishi Sachdeva.

Rishi Sachdeva called his partner Happy Bindra by phone. The other partner opened fire as soon as he arrived. In this incident Tinka Mi died on the spot, while another woman was also injured. He was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition. He was referred to Dayanand Medical College (DMC) in Ludhiana from here as his condition worsened.

After getting information about this incident, Gurharsahai police have arrested Rishi Sachdeva by registering a case against both the hotel operators, while Happy Bindra is still absconding. Police say that the matter is being investigated. Soon the accused will be arrested.
