Mumbai University reschedules examinations to be held on July 14 due to heavy rains, see revised datesheet here

Mumbai University (MU) has released the revised dates for the exams which were scheduled to be held on July 14 but were canceled due to heavy rains in the city. The university will conduct the examination for 9 different subjects of Engineering, Pharmacy and MSc Finance on 18th and 19th July. As per the official notice, the exam centers will remain the same on July 15.

Communication Skills, Professional Communication Ethics-I, Financial Accounting and Management, Entrepreneurship Management, Business Infrastructure and Management, ERP, Ethics and CSR, as well as Fixed Income Securities Exams have been rescheduled for July 18. While the Clinical Immunology and Immunopathology exam is to be held on 19th July.

The university shared the notification with a tweet that read, “Due to heavy rains, Mumbai University has canceled all exams on 14th July 2022. These exams will be held on 18th and 19th July 2022. Engineering, Pharmacy & MSc Finance exams It will be conducted in 9 subjects. The examination centers will remain same as before.

Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation Dr Vinod Patil had earlier warned students not to believe in fake messages regarding MU exam dates.

It has been raining continuously in Maharashtra for the last few days, due to which many places have been put in Red and Orange zones. Educational institutions in Pune, Latur and other cities were forced to close. India The Meteorological Department (IMD) had also issued an orange alert for Mumbai on Thursday, indicating heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places.
