Mumbai: Nizamuddin August Kranti Rajdhani Express is connected with modern Tejas rake. This is the fourth Rajdhani Express with which Tejas Smart Sleeper Coach has been attached. Earlier this special rake was added in Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani Express, Agartala-Anand Bihar Rajdhani Express, Rajendranagar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express. In July 2012, the Tejas wreck was added to the first Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani Express.
Meanwhile, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Railways, it has been said that steps are being taken to increase the convenience of passengers in long distance trains through this Tejas rake. There are CCTV recordings, special sensors to control toilet odour, panic switches, fire alarms, energy meters, air quality and choke filter sensors. According to a railway official, Tejas rake has been installed in Nizamuddin-Mumbai. In other trains, this arrangement will be done in a phased manner. This system will be step by step in all Rajdhani Express.
