MumbaiThe Narcotics Control Bureau on Sunday (October 3) arrested Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s sons Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha in connection with a raid at an alleged rave party on a luxury cruise ship, according to a report in ANI. NCB sources told the news agency that the star kid and two others would be produced in the magistrate’s court.
Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun were taken to JJ Hospital in Mumbai for medical examination. According to ANI, he was brought back to the NCB office after a medical check-up.
An anti-drugs law enforcement agency on Saturday (October 2) busted an alleged rave party aboard a luxury cruise. Ten people, including Aryan, were questioned in connection with the alleged party, which he attended on the Mumbai-Goa cruise.
“Eight persons – Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmum Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Vikrant Chhokar, Gomit Chopra, Mohawk Jaswal are being questioned in connection with the raid at an alleged rave party on a cruise off the Mumbai coast,” Director Samir Wankhede, who led the NCB zonal raid, was quoted by ANI.
The cruise was raided by the NCB team after receiving information that a party was going to take place on the Goa-bound ship. Another PTI report said that the authorities have recovered narcotics from some passengers.
Cruise company issued statement after NCB raid on rave party
Cordelia Cruz said in her statement that she had nothing to do with the incident, which has become the talk of the town. The company said it was not directly or indirectly connected with the raids conducted by the NCB.
“Cordelia Cruises is not in any way, directly or indirectly, associated with this event. Cordelia Cruises hired their ship for a private event to an event management company based in Delhi. We at Cordelia Cruises, this Condemn all such acts and will strictly refrain from leaving our ship out for similar events in the future. Nevertheless, Cordelia Cruises is extending our full support and cooperating with the authorities,” read the statement.
Satish Maneshinde will represent Aryan Khan: Sources
According to NCB sources, Satish Maneshinde will represent Aryan Khan in the Mumbai Rave Party case. He had earlier represented Rhea Chakraborty, who was the main accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
