Former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh was on Friday rushed to JJ hospital after he complained of chest pain in the Arthur Road jail. Deshmukh, who was arrested in a money laundering case by the Enforcement Directorate, has been lodged in Arthur Road jail for the last couple of months. Deshmukh was discharged from the hospital in the evening, said a hospital source.
