The ‘Koi Kissing Zone’ was seen near Satyam Shivam Sundaram Housing Society in Borivali area of ​​Mumbai. As per reports, people in the society said that some couples have been seen cheering on the nearby streets during the lockdown. These couples were seen standing, talking and “kiss as soon as they get the chance”.

News website BBC quoted people in the housing society as saying that they don’t even get it good to see couples kissing like this in full public view. After they painted ‘No Kissing Zone’ on the road, the number of jaywalking couples has reduced now, claimed people from the housing society.

Justifying the graffiti on the ‘No Kissing Zone’ street, one resident said that it is not good for children living in housing societies to see couples kissing, and that this could have a “negative effect” on them Was.

Another resident of the society said that before the couples were seen kissing on the adjacent street. Someone had made the video and then sent it to the local councillor, who in turn handed over the video to the police, complaining of “obscenity”.

Residents said that while the councilor had expressed hope for action, he did not get any response from the police, after which the residents of the housing society took it upon themselves and wrote ‘No Kissing Zone’ on the road outside the gate.

“We are not against couples,” said advocate Vinay Ansurkar, chairman of the housing society, while speaking on the graffiti “no kissing area”. “We just wanted to stop the obscenity by these couples.
