Viral video shows Gauri Khan crying when court denies bail to Aryan
It must have been one of the most heartbreaking moments for the superstar’s wife Gauri Khan. Shah Rukh Khan, when she learned on Friday (October 8) that her son Aryan Khan’s bail plea has been rejected by a Mumbai court. Aryan and the other accused sent with him are likely to spend the weekend in the quarantine cell. After the court’s verdict, a video of Gauri crying in her car went viral on the internet. Gauri, seated in the back seat, is seen shielding her face with her hand as the cameras try to record her reaction after the verdict.
The viral clip shows Gauri Khan coming out of a Mumbai court where the bail plea was rejected by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate RM Nerlikar. She entered her car and burst into tears. Meanwhile, Aryan Khan has been sent to Arthur Road Central Jail. Five other men arrested in the case along with Star Kid were also sent to the same jail, while two women accused including Munmun Dhamecha were sent to Byculla Women’s Jail. They will have to spend the weekend in the quarantine rooms as the Court of Session, where they will be required to file an appeal for bail, will not function on October 9 which is the second Saturday of the month. He will remain in the respective jails till he is granted bail, while his lawyers and the Narcotics Control Bureau’s lawyers were engaged in a fierce legal battle over it. Now Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde can only file a bail application in the sessions court on Monday. Till then the accused will have to remain in jail.

Aryan was arrested on October 3 in connection with the seizure of drugs on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. On Thursday (October 7) a magistrate’s court in Mumbai sent Aryan Khan, besides seven other accused, to 14-day judicial custody. After which Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde filed a bail application. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate RM Nerlikar had also transferred the matter to a special NDPS court for further hearing.
