The Holiday Court has directed the prosecution to file the petition before the court in charge on Monday.
The Magistrate Court on Wednesday issued a non-bailable warrant against Singh in a case of extortion. This was the third such non-bailable warrant issued against him. A confidential state report said Singh is believed to be in Chandigarh.
Last month, a Thane court as well as the 37th metropolitan court had issued non-bailable warrants against Singh in two extortion cases registered against him and others.
Singh went on leave in May this year after writing a letter to the chief minister citing health issues Uddhav Thackeray Serious allegations of corruption are being made against the then Home Minister of the state. Since then he is off duty.
