Msu Scholar Selected For Research Fellowship | Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: Rhydham Karnik, a PhD student of the Dr Vikram Sarabhai Institute of Cell and Molecular Biology (VSICMB) of M S University has been awarded the prestigious junior research fellowship by the Lady Tata Memorial Trust (LTMT), Mumbai.
To date, only eleven scholars from Gujarat received this fellowship.
The Mumbai-based trust, started by Sir Dorabji Tata in 1932, provides research fellowships to meritorious students.
This year, out of 16 students from across the country, five students from Gujarat were awarded LTMT fellowship.
Karnik is the first PhD student and first LTMT-JRF recipient from VSICMB which was started by professor C V Ramakrishnan, the first head of the biochemistry department and father of noble laureate Dr Venkatraman Ramakrishnan. tnn
