Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway shows Rani Mukerji fighting a foreign nation to regain custody of her children.
The much awaited trailer of Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway directed by Ashima Chibber is out now and Rani Mukerji is back on the big screen in a never seen before character. The actress plays a Bengali woman who moves to Norway with her husband and children – one is a toddler and the other an infant, who is still breastfeeding.
The children are taken away from her by the authorities who consider her to be an unfit mother. The film is about her fight to get her children back and prove that her parenting methods are not harmful to her children, they are just different from the culture and practices in Norway. Playing the role of a fierce woman, Rani is seen fighting against the entire Norwegian government in order to reunite with her children.
