Bhopal: A Sessions Court in Madhya Pradesh Ashok Nagar A woman and her son-in-law sentenced to 10 years in the district Jail to file a false complaint gang rape complaint in 2014, on the basis of which the police arrested four persons.
Sources said that the medical report points to ‘rape’, so the clothes and swabs of the complainant were collected for examination. However, the swabs taken from the woman did not match the DNA of any of the accused. In further investigation, the police asked the woman’s son-in-law to give his sample for DNA test. It matched. During interrogation, he confessed to having a physical relationship with his mother-in-law.
The complainant and his son-in-law admitted to falsely implicating four of their neighbors in a dispute over the installation of a new hand pump.
