MP Villagers Save Monkey Who Came In Contact With 11 KV Live Electric Wire

From time to time, many stories of humans taking care of animals and loving them have been surfacing on the internet. One such incident has come to the fore from Madhya Pradesh where villagers saved a black-faced monkey from coming under the grip of a high tension wire. The entire village united to save the monkey and it is currently undergoing treatment.

This incident is a testament to humanity and compassion and is reported from Ladkui village of Nasrullaganj, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. The whole village was seen helping the injured animal. After the accident, a doctor was called to the spot and the monkey was given first aid after which it was admitted to a local hospital.

The black-faced monkey had multiple third degree burns after coming in contact with a live wire. The villagers saw the monkey’s condition and immediately called the forest department officials so that the monkey could be saved. When the Forest Department team reached the spot and saw the condition of the monkey, a veterinarian was immediately called.

A herd of monkeys were playing on a huge banyan tree near the bus stand at Ladkui in Nasrullaganj, when one of them suddenly collided with an 11 KV electric wire passing right next to the tree. The monkey fell on the ground badly injured. The villagers saw the monkey fall and immediately decided to call the forest department and help the monkey.

The department took the monkey to the veterinary hospital for proper treatment of burns. The vet performed emergency first aid to save the monkey. It was tied up on the spot and taken to the hospital. At present the treatment of the monkey is going on. The vet revealed that the monkey suffered severe burns at various places due to high voltage current passing through it.
