CCTV footage of the accident shows that the victim was thrown into the air due to the force of the collision and hit a nearby pole
Congress leader Digvijay Singh’s car hit a two-wheeler in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district on Thursday. As soon as the bike collided, the driver of the former chief minister’s car applied brakes. According to the video going viral on social media, the accident took place in Zirapur area when the bike rider took a sudden U-turn on a narrow road and came in front of Singh’s vehicle.
The bike rider has been identified as Bablu and has suffered head injuries. Singh took him to a nearby hospital for treatment and later to a hospital in Bhopal. The condition of the laborer victim is said to be stable.
CCTV footage of the accident showed that due to the force of the collision, the victim was thrown in the air and hit a nearby pole. Passengers also gathered to help him. Singh also got down from his car and reached the spot.
india today “I am looking after all the arrangements and have taken him to the hospital,” Singh told reporters.
Zirapur police seized the vehicle and registered a case and arrested Singh’s driver Akhtar Khan, a resident of Guna.
