Mozilla: Mozilla to shut down its password manager app on all platforms – Times of India

mozilla Has been going through a tough phase lately and has already started to cut projects on the plate. The company, as of now, has already finished many of its projects including file transfer tool, Thunderbolt email platform, etc. Now, the company has announced that it will end support for Firefox. lockwise password manager Application,
App support will end on December 13 and after the due date it will no longer be available for users to download or install the app.
Mozilla announced the app as part of a small experiment called lockbox and gradually improved the way to save passwords and use it as autofill for iOS, Android and desktop operating systems. After sometime the app also a. turned into firefox Extension for better autofill integration within the web browser.
The company announced this through a post on the support page, where it advises its users to continue accessing the password using the Firefox web browser on desktop and mobile. The company further says that eventually Firefox will adopt LockWise as an integrated feature and become a net for all platforms. With the integration, the Firefox web browser will get the password manager feature systemwide.
