Since his debut in Ilzaam, Govinda has acted in over 165 Hindi films, including Dulhe Raja, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Sandwich, Bhagam Bhag, Partner, Hero No. 1 and many more. He later became one of the most commercially successful stars of the 1990s.

The Bhagam Bhag actor said, “I was on top for 14 years, there was no plan. But when I felt that people were turning against me, I could not do anything. People who are bigger than Astrology, Numerology, Vastu Shastra… They don’t pay attention to these people. This is too small a factor to see. Even mountains crumble.”
