The pre-wedding events included haldi and mehendi ceremonies, with Mouni gracing the occasion in white and yellow outfits respectively. The yellow lehenga set designed by Payal Singhal celebrated Mouni’s fun personality and was adorned with tickling tassels as she danced to the tunes of Mehndi Hai Rachnewali. The intricate embroidery on the choli and cowrie shells add a traditional touch to their overall look.
Red wedding
Red will and will always be a favorite among brides! Mouni embraced Sooraj’s Malayali roots and dressed up as a South Indian bride. Though she opted for a Bengali saree in red and white, the drape gave it the illusion of a South Indian wedding saree. She paired the saree with temple jewelery designed by Anmol Jewellers. Honoring her Bengali roots, Mouni wore a classic Sabyasachi lehenga for her Bengali wedding ceremony. The bridal lehenga was made in hand-woven matka silk with fine tilla work and had embroidered revival zardozi borders. She completed the traditional look with an embroidered tissue veil, which was trimmed with a handmade beam.

After the wedding, the couple made their way into our hearts at a sangeet/cocktail party. Looking glamorous in a gold lehenga designed by Falguni Shane Peacock, Mouni’s performance was all about drama as she grooved to rowdy baby with her husband Sooraj Nambiar. The jewelery designed by Golecha Jewels was adding a dash of drama and glitz to their overall look.
keeping it cool and sexy
Mouni certainly knows how to play it sexy and casual at the same time, with the actress looking glamorous in a metallic green fitted floor-length dress on one occasion. For another fun outing, she kept it chic and casual in a co-ord set wrapped around a printed crop top and short skirt.
