Mouni Roy Gets Discharged From Hospital After 9 Days

Mumbai: Mouni Roy is back home after being hospitalized for 9 days. The actor shared a health update with fans on social media on Saturday. Mouni shared a series of pictures on Instagram and wrote a thank you note. In the first picture, Mouni can be seen taking the selfie by leaning on her husband Sooraj Nambiar’s shoulder. He also shared a picture of his hand which has a needle inserted for drip and a bandage is tied around it.

And other photos show how she survived the hospital. This included everything from playing Ludo to reading books. Mouni also posed in the car with her brother. He also shared a picture of his fur friend. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “9 days in the hospital and I am overwhelmed with a deeper peace than anything I’ve ever felt.


Happy to share that I am back home and recovering slowly but very well. A happy healthy life over all. Thank you so much to the doctors, nurses and my dearest friends who spent their precious time taking care of me, sending me wishes and love. Ily friends. Ps @nambiar13 there is no one like you.. I am forever grateful.

As soon as he shared the news, his fans and industry friends started shouting in the comments section. Mouni’s close friend and actor Disha Patani wrote, “Oh, get well soon my son. I love you!! I have the same jumper hehe. The last picture is epic.

Pulkit Samrat commented, “Get well soon Moni..!” Sunil Grover wrote, “Sending you love and healing.” Mouni tied the knot with Suraj in Goa in January 2022. The couple had two ceremonies – as per Bengali and South Indian customs.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Mouni was highly appreciated for her performance in the sci-fi action film ‘Brahmastra: Part 1’, which also starred Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.

She will next be seen in the upcoming sci-fi horror comedy film ‘The Virgin Tree’ alongside actors Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh and Palak Tiwari. Helmed by Siddhant Sachdev, the official release date of the film is still awaited.
