Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar has passed away. He breathed his last at 8.12 am on Sunday. After Corona, he died due to multi organ failure. On Saturday, he was again shifted to ventilator. He has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai since he became Corona positive on 8 January. 92-year-old Lata has been in ICU since then. Apart from sister Asha Bhosle, many big personalities reached the hospital to know her condition. Prayers are going on across the country for his well being.

About 51 years ago, on this day, man played golf on the moon. Astronaut Alan Shepherd, who was part of the crew of NASA’s Moon mission Apollo-14, hit two golf balls on the lunar surface. In 2021, 50 years after this incident, the US space agency NASA claimed to have discovered those balls. NASA launched its 8th Moon mission Apollo-14 on 31 January 1971.
