Monsoon session of Parliament will start from July 19 with all Kovid protocols

New Delhi: The monsoon session of Parliament will begin at its normal time this year, with a suggestion to start the session from the third week of July.

As per reports, the monsoon session will start from July 19 (Monday) and end on August 13 and there are likely to be around 20 meetings with all the COVID-19 related protocols.

Ever since the coronavirus pandemic hit the country, three sessions of Parliament – Budget, Monsoon and Winter Session – last year’s winter session were cancelled. Last year the monsoon season, which usually starts in July, began in September.

Sources close to news agency IANS had earlier said that officials are confident of holding the monsoon session in July this year as most of the MPs, staff members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariats and other stakeholders have received at least one dose of coronavirus. Vaccination.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked his cabinet ministers to be well prepared for the upcoming monsoon session and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is reportedly overseeing the preparations made to ensure smooth conduct of the meetings. Huh.
