Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone took to Instagram on Friday, April 12, to drop a new photo, clicked by her doting husband Ranveer Singh. Deepika flaunted her beach tan on her back as she smiled, looking away from the camera.
Deepika captioned the post, “☀️☀️ @ranveersingh.” Deepika wore a grey tank top and had a white tote bag on her shoulder. She tied her hair in a neat bun and looked radiant as she posed under the sun. Check out the post here:
Fans flocked to the comments section of Deepika’s post. One person wrote, “Happy that girl’s enjoying tan ❤️.” Another person wrote, “Mama Padukone enjoying her pregnancy.” One fan of the actress called her “the queen of the universe”. Deepika Padukone is expecting her first child with actor-husband Ranveer Singh. The two announced their pregnancy in February this year when Deepika shared an adorable poster with “September 2024” written on it. The poster also had children’s clothes, toys and balloons as the border. Deepika and Ranveer have been married for over five years now.
The pregnancy announcement came weeks after Deepika said that she wanted to have kids with Ranveer. The actress was speaking to Vogue Singapore when she said, “Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone was recently seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. Next, Deepika Padukone has a number of projects in her pipeline. She will soon be sharing the screen with Prabhas in Kalki 2989 AD. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in a key role. It will hit theatres in May this year. Besides this, Deepika will also be working on the Hindi remake of The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan. She will also be introduced into Rohit Shetty’s cop-verse with Singham 3.
