Modi wave still strong in Karnataka: Min | Mysuru News – Times of India

Mysuru: Higher Education Minister Ashwath Narayan CN on Monday clarified that there is nothing special in excluding BJP state vice-president BY Vijayendra from by-election duties. “We will use their services for campaigning,” he said, adding that the Congress would never come to power in the state again.
Talking to reporters here after participating in the Modi era festival organized by Krishnaraja MLA SA Ramdas, he said that the Modi wave is still very strong in the state. “If you ask people who should be our prime minister even in Hassan or Kanakapura, people take Modi’s name. People do not take names of local leaders. The Modi wave is permanent,” he said. “I will give in writing; Congress will never return to power in Karnataka or at the Centre. Because it is a divided house,” he said.
During Modi Yug Utsav he said that through Lateral Entry Scheme there are lot of job opportunities are available for those doing diploma and engineering but students are not showing interest to join polytechnic courses. He said that students will gain more practical knowledge in polytechnics than in PU courses.
“We spend an average of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh on a diploma student. But every year thousands of seats remain vacant. To make polytechnic colleges more popular we are introducing new age courses like AI, Machine Learning, Robotics etc. He said that NEP 2020 would be implemented from the primary education level in the state itself.
