New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Wednesday, he is holding a review meeting with the district magistrates of more than 40 districts with low Kovid-19 vaccination coverage.
The meeting, being held through video conferencing, includes districts where there is less than 50 per cent coverage of the first dose and less coverage of the second dose vaccine.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, 40 districts are spread over other states including Jharkhand, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and Meghalaya.

Highlighting the need to accelerate the pace of vaccination and coverage, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya recently said that there are more than 10.34 crore people in the country who have not received the second dose of the vaccine after the end of the stipulated interval.
