The Indian women’s cricketer will play ODIs on 21 September, 24 September and 26 September at Mackay’s Harroop Park, which has previously hosted only one international match.

The only international men’s match at the ground was played between India and Sri Lanka during the World Cup on 28 February 1992, but was washed out after only two balls were bowled.

Women’s ODIs will be followed by a one-off Test match at the Carrara Oval in Queensland from 30 September to 3 October.

The tour will conclude with seven T20 Internationals at the Carrara Oval on October 7, 9 and 10.

India’s women cricketers had recently returned from a full tour of England. While the lone Test ended in a draw, England won the ODI and T20I series by a 2–1 margin.

Some Indian players also participated in The Hundred tournament.
