Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man was arrested on Thursday Nizamabad There is an allegation of sexual assault of two minor girls, both cousins, in the district, police said.
A neighbour, the accused, took eight and 10-year-old girls to his house on October 2 on the pretext of giving them chocolates while playing in front of his house, where he allegedly committed the crime, a senior official said. The police officer told PTI.
After the girls informed about the incident, the relatives of the victim lodged a complaint with the police. A case has been registered under relevant sections Protection of children from sexual offenses (POCSO) Act and Indian Penal Code And the accused was arrested.
In another incident, a middle-aged man was arrested for sexually assaulting a two-and-a-half-year-old girl. Soft District on October 4, police said.
The accused was playing in his locality by luring the girl and took her to a secluded place. Based on the complaint of the girl’s mother, he said that he then allegedly sexually assaulted her.
