Milma All Set To Revamp Its Brand Image To Face Competition

New Delhi: Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF), popularly known as brand Milma, is all set to revamp its brand image through ‘Repositioning Milma 2023’ campaign, which will bring uniformity in packaging and products. The move is aimed at preparing Milma to face challenges from domestic and global dairy brands and consolidate its position as the market leader, an official said here on Monday.

The products are intended to be revamped to meet the challenges in the dairy sector in the current scenario, Milma Chairman KS Mani said, adding that the project was finalized after more than a year of preparations including an extensive market study. ,Also Read: ‘Last Selfie On Earth’: AI Shows What The World Will Look Like Just Before It Ends,

In order to compete with big domestic and global brands, Milma will have to adopt a new packaging standard and marketing strategy, Milma said at a press conference here.

As a first step, Milma and its regional milk unions will follow uniformity in quality, design and production process of liquid milk, curd, set curd, flavored milk and ghee sold in the market.

Envisaged with the financial and technical assistance of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), the ‘Repositioning Milma 2023’ campaign envisages an overall change and uniformity in packaging, design, quality and value of dairy products to compete with any other brands Has been.

Milma Chairman said that the objective of the project is to expand the marketing network of Milma and ensure availability of all Milma dairy products in remote areas across the state.

Through this long-term plan, significant changes will take place in major functional areas like production, quality and marketing of Federation and Regional Milk Unions. Mani said Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister J Chinchu Rani would preside over the inaugural function.

Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan will deliver the keynote address at the function, where Transport Minister Antony Raju, MP Shashi Tharoor and NDDB Chairman Meenesh C Shah will be the chief guests.
