Microsoft: This useful Microsoft Edge feature may soon get a major upgrade – Times of India

Microsoft reportedly working to upgrade one of the useful features edge browser, As reported by TechRadar, Reddit user Leo Varela has noticed a new functionality in the web capture tool that was introduced by the company last year. For those who don’t know, Web Capture makes it easy for users to capture quick screenshots from web pages. Users can save an entire webpage or a certain section. But earlier, users were not able to take screenshots of certain types of content, especially PDF files, on the browser. With the new functionality, the tool can reportedly capture all kinds of content visible on the browser in screenshots.
As of now, the web capture button on the browser stops working when you try to take a screenshot. However, this is not the case in the latest Edge Canary builds. Leo has also revealed that with the upgrade users do not get the option to capture a certain segment of what is visible on the screen. The company has not yet revealed anything about the new functionality and it is not yet known when it will be introduced to the public.
Recently, Microsoft rolled out a new update for its Edge browser. The latest version of the browser is called Edge 96. As Microsoft is constantly pushing users to use its Edge web browser on Windows 11 by blocking apps like Edge Deflector, it has also improved its browser by adding some new features with the latest update.
You can now easily update your saved passwords on Edge that have been compromised. When you go to the password manager in the browser’s settings, you can tap the Go To button beside your saved passwords. The button will take you to the correct page to update your password for that site. As of now, this feature is only available for a few websites, but the company says that it is going to expand it soon.
