Michael Vaughan’s Dig At Pakistan, Says Glad To Hear ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ At Perth

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has taken a fresh jibe at the Pakistan cricket team. Vaughan took to his social media to point out that he was glad to hear ‘Dil, Dil Pakistan’ during Pakistan’s 1st Test against hosts Australia at Perth.

Vaughan wrote “Great to hear ‘Dil Dil’ Pakistan being played at the Perth stadium at tea”

His post received many reactions from Indian fans who recalled Pakistan’s clash against arch-rivals India in the ODI World cup 2023.

Pakistan cricket team director Arthur Mickey had come up with an unsual excuse after their 7-wicket defeat against hosts India and said that he couldn’t hear ‘Dil, Dil Pakistan’ in the stadium which could have been a factor in the team’s loss.

Pakistan started their 3-match Test series against Australia on December 14 with the hosts starting the proceeding with the bat on Day 1.

Vaughan’s banter with Hafeez

Michael Vaughan was seen to be engaging in continuous banter with former Pakistan cricketer Mohd Hafeez on social media platform ‘X’ and the former English cricketer also posted a picture with him on the platform before the 1st Test at Perth, receiving many reactions from cricket fans as well.

The 1st Day at Perth saw David Warner score his 26th Test century and silenced all of his critics who were suggesting to rest the 37-year-old for the red ball series against the Men in Green.
