BCCI felicitated Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar of Mumbai Indians as well as Sanju Samson and Kumar Sangakkara of Rajasthan Royals on the occasion of 1000th match of IPL.

Apart from marking the 1000th match of the IPL, Rohit Sharma is captaining Mumbai for the 150th time in the competition apart from being 36 years old.
While Rajasthan is at the third position in the points table, Mumbai is at the ninth position.
After winning the toss, Samson said that left-arm fast bowler Trent Boult has returned to the playing XI. Rohit Sharma said that fast bowlers Jofra Archer and Arshad Khan have returned to the playing XI in place of Jason Behrendorff and Arjun Tendulkar.
