MHT CET 2023: Registration Begins For 5-year LLB Exam at cetcell.mahacet.org

The last date to apply for MH CET Law 2023 application is March 11. Interested and eligible candidates can register and submit the application form at cetcell.mahacet.org for 5 Year LLB.

The registration process for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MHT CET) will begin today, according to the state’s Directorate of Higher Education. Candidates who have passed class 12th exam and appearing for board exams this year can apply for MHT CET five year LLB programme.

The last date to apply for MH CET Law 2023 application is March 11. Interested and eligible candidates can register and submit the application form at cetcell.mahacet.org for 5 Year LLB. This year the entrance test for 5 year LLB program will be held on 2nd April.

No date has yet been given by the exam conducting authority to release the admit card but it is expected that the hall tickets will be out about a week before the commencement of the exam. A state-level entrance exam is conducted for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programs offered by around 140 colleges in Maharashtra.

MHT CET 5 Year LLB Application: Eligibility Criteria

Apart from passing class 12th exam or appearing in this year’s board exam, open category candidates need to score at least 45 per cent marks. For Vimukt Jati Nomadic Tribe (VJNT) Special Backward Class (SBC) Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates minimum marks 42 percent is required. Also, SC and ST candidates must have secured at least 40 per cent marks in their class 12 exam.

MHT CET 5 Year LLB Application: Documents Required

Before filling the form, make sure that you have a valid email ID and a phone number along with the following documents:

– Either Aadhaar Card or Voter ID Card

Mark sheet of the qualifying examination.

– Passport size photo and a signature

MHT CET 5 Year LLB Application Fee

As far as the registration fee for this state level entrance exam is concerned, open category candidates will have to pay Rs.800 and SC and ST category candidates will have to pay Rs.400 as registration fee.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law is conducted once in a year in English and Marathi languages. The mode of application, examination and counseling is done online. With around 10,000 seats for the five-year LLB programme, the duration of the exam remains two hours for the exam.
