Metro train service on Yellow Line disrupted after woman jumps on track

In an unusual incident, a woman passenger allegedly jumped and hit her in front of a moving Metro train on July 4. This caused a slight delay in services on a section of the Yellow Line, sources said. The Yellow Line connects Samaypur Badli in Delhi and HUDA City Center in Gurgaon.

The incident took place at Jor Bagh metro station. Sources said that the train was on its way towards HUDA City Center when it jumped off the platform and hit it.

DMRC tweeted at around 11:20 am to alert metro commuters: “Yellow line update Delayed services from Central Secretariat to Green Park due to a passenger on the track at Jor Bagh. Normal service on all other lines.”
