Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Thursday wished Congress President Sonia Gandhi on her birthday and described her as a messiah of Dalits and an advocate of morality in politics. Gandhi, the longest-serving president of his party, turned 75 on Thursday.
My best wishes to Smt Sonia Gandhi ji, a visionary, dynamic and determined national leader, messiah of Dalits and advocate of morality in politics, on her birthday, Channi tweeted. “His strength, dedication, courage and sacrifice is an inspiration to all,” he said and wished the leader good health and happiness.
Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu shared a picture of himself clicked with Gandhi and tweeted that a day is special for you. Former Haryana Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda also wished Gandhi on his birthday.
Happy Birthday to Congress President Smt. Hooda tweeted in Hindi on Sonia Gandhi’s birthday. He said that we should continue to get his guidance and leadership.
